"Do you shoot any personal work?
Last week I shot the profile of a Ugandan actress. We painted her black with poster paint and I recreated a studio version of the moment I first saw her striking profile, just a personal project."
These 2 profiles are amazing! They are so intimate, especially the one on the left. There is so much detail in them and emotion even if she's got her eyes closed. In the second one, the splash of colour works really well.
This one is so funny! At first, I thought that she's got fruits stuck on her eyelid. But it's just paint and lots of character and attitude and it's just amazing! It's very simple but her attitude does the job !!
This one is more elegant. She looks like she's dreaming. She has something in her hand that resembles something that only a queen would have. I can't remember the name of it but I bet she's dreaming of being a queen or at least a princess. The light is soft and it looks very natural.
What I have noticed is the fact that the artist uses quite simple or blank backgrounds and then he adds just a splash of colour and everything changes. That's amazing!!!

This one here looks like a page from a designer's collection look book which I am quite interested in to be honest. I also like this collage of 4 images put together. She has different attitudes, different hair styles and different outfits as well which is quite interesting for me. It is not such a big deal, not the best idea for fashion photography but I believe the look books are asked because there are lots of designers out there who want to showcase their collections. So I will keep that in mind for my project
